The phenomenon of institutionalization of organization has always been a controversial debate in organization theory and researchers have always been interested in investigating why, what and how to institutionalization organizations. The contradiction between institutionalization and institutional change (de-institutionalization) is a controversial issue in this area since the process of institutionalization involves some change. Research programs in this area have attempted to construct a model which explains and explicates institutionalization and de-institutionalization simultaneously. The presented article explains institutionalization and de-institutionalization in a dialectical model and in order to do so, it has taken advantage of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and structural equations modeling.
