The history of research and theoretical studies about transformational leadership goes back to 1978 when Bronz launched his activities. Since then there have been a number of worldwide studies about this kind of leadership, its factors and effects on the organizational results.
Transformational leadership lays the foundations for long-term organizational changes which prepares the grounds for organizational system to accomplish higher goals.
Organizational transformation needs transformational leaders. Considering the necessity of bringing about fundamental transformations in our administrative system and the effective role of leadership and organization management in this kind of transformation, conducting some research in this regard deems to be very necessary at this stage.
Attempts have been made in this paper to introduce the factors of transformational leadership, forward suitable hypotheses, and introduce the research and data collection methods. Consequently through an analysis of the collected data the impact of these factors on organizational results are examined to offer suitable proposals for consolidation and application of this leadership style and pave the way for introduction of organizational transformations in the state administrative system.
