Abstract

This article is the result of a field research with the purpose of determining factors that influence the use of ATMs by bank customers. On the basis of secondary research, a questionnaire containing 32 Likert type questions were prepared and distributed among 209 Mellat Bank Customers (Users and Non-users of ATM). Varimax rotated Factor Analysis of the questions yielded Six factors which were named:
1-Ease of use! Access 2-Place Utility 3-Customer Awareness 4-system Integration 5-service Diversification and 6-Reliability
On the basis of factors, a t-test between users and non-users of ATM showed that for users of ATM, Place Utility and for non-users, Reliability are more important.
