Abstract

In "The Public (Macro) Problems and Private (Micro)
Solutions of the Administrative Organ of the Islamic Republic of Iran", Mr . Mohammad Hosain Latifi
Presents twelve major attributes of administrative profile of Iranian public institutions. He
examines these attributes from four dimensions,
1-The macro and micro levels of management system.
2-Cultural, perceptional, and indigenous framework.
3-The role of Islam as a thought provoker based on
revelation. and
4-lmportation
and
imposition
of the
educational
structure and rational methodology of foreign systems
which have intruded Islamic nations in general and Iran
in Particular.
The author mentions ten macro-trends which have
evolved in the industrial world and which will impose
itself upon the Iranian society. These arc:
1-Change form an industial society to an information
society.
2-Change from a required technology to a super modern
and ahove al:cess technology.

from
representative
democracy
to a
a
participative democracy,
4-Change from the hierarchy system to a networking
system.
5-Change from the "either-or" trend to a multiple choice
trend.
6-Change fnHIl the national economy trend to the global
economy trend .
7 -Change from a short-term view to the long-term
perspective.
8-Change
from
the
centralization
trend
to
non-centralization tn'm).
9-Change from an external Support system to the self
help system without the support of foreign aid agencies,
and
10-Chan_e from the trend of the East- \Vest to the
North-South.
The author then

problems
examines
administrative body of the Islamic Republic of Iran and
observes four phenomena. They are:
1-Colonialistolmperialist fear Syndrome.
2-Nationalism with the ideological biology
3-Regional instability, and
4-0il, as monoculture economic System.
The remaining of the article deals with an analysis of
private (micro) level solutions to the public (macro) level problems.
