According to dynamic nature of system and machines has been tried to develop a framework model. For this reason a system dynamic model has been introduced that the most important variables, such as: system’s age, mission critically, availability, technology upgrade, in select and appraisal of maintenance policy take in consider. In this article we attempt to design a model framework for appraising maintenance polices and also simulating the parameters and variables, which affect on system life cycle cost. In this paper from system dynamics knowledge for maintenance modeling has been used. Objective of this model like any other maintenance model is balancing between breakdown cost and opportunity lost with preventive maintenance costs. We can use this model to better analysis of the cost structure and achieving sustainable competitive advantage. The emphasis of the research is to achieve a cost competitive advantage by focus on life cycle cost and cumulative breakdown of system.
