The Application of Six Dimentional Model for Evaluation of Organizational Climate

Abstract

Measurement of organizational climate for
rcognition of intra-organizational elements and
adjusting them for the managers is highly
important. One of the prevalent techniques of
measuring the organizational climate is the six
dimensional model Box of Wiseboard which
consists of objectives, structure, incentives,
communication and auxiliary methods. To
these factors in this model, the element of
reaction and sensitivity toward change has
been added in order to provide more
comprehensive approach of factors involved in
understanding the organizational climate. The
industrial unit which was chosen for the
experimentation of research is located in
Isfahan composes of 1300 personnel. The
results show that there is a problem in the
incentive system of the organization which its
main cause, is the inappropriateness of
communication and auxiliary methods.
