Abstract

Over the past few decades, a number of management theories, approaches, tool and techniques have emerged This paper will investigate the theoretical differences and similarities between the following three new approaches of Total Quality Management (TQM), Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Learning Organization (LO) , which all have been presented regarding organization evolution. By reviewing the literature and considering the philosophy, principles, tools and techniques of each one, the application methods of each approach are compares with each other. To end with, the differences and similarities of each approach has been evaluated with relations to their mode of evolution in organization. Some of these similarities and differences emphasize on specific aspects of managerial concepts and some other concentrate on the method of each approach in application of each concept.
