Conceptual and scientific works in management field must contribute to develop existing organizational knowledge. In other words, they should show their added values. Therefore, authors of articles and doctoral students must answer to such questions: How can we Judge about theoretical added values of a scientific work? What are the criteria for evaluating theoretical contribution of a conceptual paper or dissertation? In this paper, at first, we will overview two strategies of theory building, that is, “Research - theory strategy” and “Theory research strategy”; then we suggest a number of criteria for evaluating theoretical contribution of a conceptual model in organizational science.
