The personnel suggestions system, being one of the executive styles in the participative management system, comprises a
methodical participatory management which primarily evokes mental activity in personnel to present their ideas and viewpoints for betterment of procedures and products as well as increasing motivation, sense of responsibility and organizational affiliation.
Although the topic of participative managenent along with the interpretation of its various executive styles especially the
personnel suggestions system is not the one with a recent record of explication in our society, it is simply insufficient to introduce
and focus on the theoretical principles of the topic. By presenting the practical results achieved in the course of implementation to managers and practitioners, we will launch an effort to nudge
them into changing their atitudes and behavior towards the system so as to build up their preparedness and put such results
to the test in their own organizations.
This article reflects the outcome of a research on the
participative management based on the personnel suggestions system implemented in the Iran Khodrow autoparts manufacturing (front part pieces) company. The company's status
has scientifical1y been scrutinized prior to this study. Upon implementation of the intended system, we have employed the same scientific method to evaluate the results which will include
the increase of economy in expenditures, enhancement of esprit de corps, establishment of rapport with personnel and
reinforcement of the sense of respectability towards superiors by subordinates. The last but not least, the personnel will feel more
freedom to express their viewpoints and the atmosphere will in all likelihood be more open to criticism.
