Personnel's enhancement of familiarity with communicative skills and their practices in an organization will guarantee its
survivial and boost its performance. The present research is aimed at investigting the skill functions of "conflict resoution"
towards improvement of job performance and human relations with the aid of workshop training. The target group comprises 45
experts of male fieldworkers from the Department of Natural Resources in the cities and towns of the Fars Province. The
methodology used here is semi-empirical and is executed in the form of a project for the "final test on a single control group".
Data collection has been based on open and closed questions as well as regular observations whereby the validity of the
questions have been in conjunction with the nominal validity. We have employed the content-analysis method to analyse the open
questions and the descriptive statistics for the closed questions. Accordingly, non-parametric statistics has been used to make a
comparative study of the comments expressed by the target
group on the connunication skill functions in respect of their idiosyncratic, educational and occupational characteristics and features. The results indicate that, owing to the learning process of the conflict resolution skills, differences still exist between the
pre-and-post workshop situations. Furthermore, the low standard deviation listed by the target group is indicafive of a rather broad consensus of opinions on the age groups, educational degrees, disciplines, office terms in the presnt position, and number of the previous posts where there are meaningeful distinctions simply as regards the academic diplomas and majors. Where the opinion polls wihtout training and stated rehearsals appear to be a more
likely certainty, it is thus suggested that more people be tanght this type of skill in the form of educational workshop.
