It was not until recent times that the Fuzzy logic was born. Since then, thousands of articles and hundreds of books have
been written and within the same range, numerous academic meetings have been held to discuss this logic. Interestingly
enough, despite the voluminous research conducted on the Fuzzy logic, the areas have not been so far extensively explored and much of the work has been confined to mathematics and the
Fuzzy engineering systems rather than the areas of the basic concepts of this logic. That is why the Fuzzy logic is used by many engineers today without having a correct understanding of it.
The major goal of the present articles is to explain one of the fundamental ideas which contributed of the birth to the Fuzzy logic. This will help the practitioners to have a good grasp of the
subject and, through cogent recognition of some basic concepts of the Fuzzy logic, new realms of research will be provided for the
academic centers and, above all, the scientific management accordingly.
