Abstract

Despite the varying measures of efforts made in recent years to provide a multi-dimensional description of the concept of "Development", the functional essence of "management
development" as a basis for all-round development in the Islamic Republic of Iran is still hanging in a halo of fuzziness and superficialism. Whereas the concept of the "management development" viewed by the practitioners, brings to mind more the subject of "Managers' Development" and beyond that, "Organizational Development", the real extent of this concept
transcends such duality.
In a brief introduction which indicates the keen interest in the
"management development " as a vital and determining element in
a perfectionist Islamic Revolution trend, we have made an attempt to enumerate and probe into the key components of the "management development" concept.
