What factors determine the organizational structure? Strategy, technology, size or environment? Is the leadership style a determining factor in organizational structure? How can it be explained in the context of content factors? There are some such questions to be answered. So the major goal of the present research is to examine the impact of leadership style on the organization structure. It is of great
importance to identify the relations between various leadership styles and diverse structures. What happens then when a manager with an
autocratic style stands in an organic structure?
Will he change his leadership style or the organization structure? Lack of harmony between the leadership style and the organization structure will give rise to negative consequences. The recruitment and
appointment of the managers armed with styles appropriate to the organizational structure of their respective units, will contribute to the success and effectiveness of the organization. For instance, an autocratic manager in a mechanical structure will act more successfully than in an organic structure. With this assumption in mind, we conduct our research on the relationship between the leadership style and organizational structure.
