Abstract

Continuing his previous discussion on the role of
rationality in Max Weber's bureaucratic model, in Part 2 of "A Critique of Rationality in Max Weber's Bureaucracy" Mr. yousof farbodi describes
various forms of rationality from Weber's point of view. The terms economic rationality, legal rationality, traditional rationality, emotional rationality,
and instrumental rationality, intrinsic rationality are individually defined and examined.
Furthermore, in this article the relationship of tradition and rationality, role of tradition in social life and growth of rationality, history of instrumental rationality,
And similarities and differences of instrumental



rationality with intrinsic rationality are further discussed.
