Mr . Mohammad Reza Hamidzadeh has provided a translation of John M. Port’s article on “The Dynamic Planning and Control of the Projects Under Uncertainty”. A major factor in this arena is the allocation of corporate resources to various parts of the project which are implemented in different timing horizons. Since uncertainty plays an important part on implementation of various phases of a project, the probability of occurrence of different events should be measured and accounted for in scheduling and resource allocation. Sensitivity analysis and simulation exercises helps in measuring the impact of different levels of risk on successful implementation of the project.
