Abstract

There are several essays written about the
evaluation methods of the human resource performance. These methods, usually formal, are operating in long-term (one or two times a year) and specific intervals. The evaluation methods are often criticized in different ways.
This essay, at the first step, explains the formal evaluation methods and then recommends “self-evaluation” system as a better technique for the evaluation of human resource performance while expressing its advantages. The author holds that anyone, in his own organization, can make use of the system for the immediate evaluation of his performance. Besides, he is able reform his performance by the infornation feedback he gains.
The subjects discussed in this essay are 1:he features of formal evaluation system of the staff performance, the advantages of traditional evaluation and self-evaluation systems along with self-evaluation mechanisms.
