Abstract

Three major factors have been influencing education and training system during the past two decades, Namely, population increase, political changes at the regional and international level, and rapid technological development. In this context, public sector employment of graduates of education and training system, has been decreasing drastically. Furthermore, the trend of employment of graduates in the medium and large establishments of the private sector is not consistent with the increasing rate of graduation. In lunch a situation, the informal sector in general, and self - employment in particular , has been considered as an alternative for employment of graduates.
This article, after reviewing the experiences of a few developing countries in employment of graduates, through self-employment and informal sector uints , proposes a modular entrepreneurial training system for promoting achievement motivation, risk-taking, and other necessary skills to enable graduates to design and develop self-employment and informal sector unit.
