Overpopulation, adverse economic conditions and rising costs of living in Iran have put much pressure on the active personnel where the maintenance and management of human resources in an efficient and optimum manner have also confronted some problems as well.
In this article, the demographic age pyramid is categorized within the framework of the eight ages of man, initiated by Erikson so as to define the pressure exerted on the different age groups of the active personnel in the course of their job advancement and promotion.
