Scientific relation is one the basic facets of scientific institution. Scientific and specialized journals are one of the routes of science generation. Also they are responsible for creating connection between scientists of different scientific fields. This article tries to investigate research trends of management journals through content analysis. Thus, the research was done by using Commings database which is on internet and the methodology is content analysis. 2868 references of four academic management journals were gathered which was published during 1981 to 2001 and the references were in 197 pages. Independent variables include article numbers, publishing year, journal kind and number of writers. Dependent variables consist of 24 trends of organizational researches. Collected data was analyzed with SPSS.
