Comparative Research on Mission Statement's Formulation Components of Inland and Abroad IT Compaines
Abstract
One of the most popular management tools, the mission statement, also is subject to widespread criticism. In order to improve our understanding of the mission statement’s strategic value and to provide actionable and scientific recommendations for mission statement formulation have been tried by reviewing different strategic management texts, is represented a comprehensive model for formulation mission statement. At the result of models analysis, finally the paper found eight factors underlying 23 possible mission statement content items. And base on these factors we represent our mission statement model. The goal of this comparative study is to provide a useful model to formulate mission statement based on similarities, differences, strengths and weaknesses of different models and comparing them with each other.
