The dynamics of business environment of production units and the numerous factors affecting them makes planning, as the principal function of management, more important. Therefore production planning is considered one success tool. In this article we are trying to present a proper production planning model in the wire and cable industry using operations research methods in order to show the rational relationships between operations for better planning and productivity increase.
In this article after studying production planning and the wire and cable industry, goal programming model will be designed for production planning.
